Canada should not help to bomb Yugoslavia
There is no excuse for this unilateral act of war, one that violates international law
DAVID ORCHARD
Toronto
When Abraham Lincoln went to war against the Confederate South "to preserve the Union," as he put it, he was regarded as a national hero, and Washington bore long and vindictive grudges against any countries - including Canada and Britain - that did not leap to support it.
Has not Britain waged a decades-long war against the Irish Republican Army? Was it not a Canadian government in Ottawa that invoked the War Measures act and moved troops into Quebec when faced with "apprehended insurrection"?
We are told that Yugoslavia refused to sign a "peace agreement" with its armed separatists. There is no peace agreement. There is an 81-page document, drawn up by the U.S., which will in effect sever Kosovo, long regarded as the cradle of Serbian nationhood, from Yugoslavia. Belgrade was told to sign or be bombed.
Most of the people in the separatist region are of a different ethnic group from those in the rest of Yugoslavia, we are told. If this justified secession, most nations in the world, including Canada and the U.S., would disintegrate overnight.
A long political and media campaign to demonize the Serbs has culminated with Bill Clinton's comparison of war-torn Yugoslavia to Hitler's Germany. Equating a weak, already partially dismembered country under economic sanctions for almost a decade, struggling to hang on to its heartland, surrounded and menaced by the world's most powerful nations armed to the teeth with the latest high-tech weapons, to Nazi Germany only goes to graphically illustrate that truth is the first casualty of war.
Lest anyone be confused, the attack on Yugoslavia is not a United Nations operation in any way, nor does it have UN sanction. Both Russia and China have condemned it unequivocally. It is a unilateral and unprecedented act of war by the world's most powerful military alliance in violation of international law and of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization's own charter, which provides for defence in the case of attack against a member nation. No member nation of NATO has been attacked or threatened by Yugoslavia.
Why is Canada, the famed peacemaker, involved in the illegal destruction of a founding member of the UN and our ally in both world wars?
COMMENT: Your Editor's mother was a Canadian Nursing sister who nursed British-Empire and Serbian wounded during the Gallipoli Campaign in the First World War. She reported that she found the Serbs to be remarkably fine "quality" troops of Christian character! The conflicts in the Balkan area between Christians and Moslems have been going on for centuries. People tend to forget that it has been of such length. About 1370, Mohammedans established the Janissary Corps. Murad (or possibly Orkhan) "created this elite body of soldiery, at first almost entirely infantry archers*+*, and consisting of former Christians captured in childhood and brought up as fanatic Moslems. For more than 500 years the Janissaries would play a leading role in Ottoman history."* The contention has lasted at least six-hundred years in the area of Serbia since the June 20, 1389 "Battle of Kossovo." which involved the "Victory of Murad and his son Bayazid over a coalition of Serbs, Bulgars, Bosnians, Wallachians, and Albanians under the leadership of Lazar of Serbia, who was killed in the battle. Murad was later assassinated by a Serbian prisoner."* The Mohammedans swept through to invest the gates of Vienna September 27-October 15, 1529, before being halted. No matter how hard NATO forces pound the Serbs with powerful explosive power, we have to question if they have any precise "Exit Strategy." What development outside of the Return of Our LORD can possibly mend such a situation? Surely the leaders who have ordered this attack have an objective, but we suspect that it involves setting a new mark in the escalation of precedents towards the creation of a totally supreme world police force UNDER ANTI-CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP, no matter what victims may lie dead along the way and regardless of the historic roots of the Christian-Moslem animosities of generations past.
*+* Can we not see, almost as if in a prophetic re-play of the first Battle of Kosovo, an elite military force today - which might be termed "the latter-day Janissaries" - frequently the grown children of Christian families themselves, who have been highly trained as modern "archers", and ordered by their masters to shoot high-tech "arrows" killing Christian Serbians, in support of a non-Christian people!
As a responsible observer, I feel it incumbent upon me to warn that justice involves both parties in such a situation. A fleet which stands afar while shooting deadly arrows to bring a freed people "to heel" just might, like Pharaoh's proud charioteers amidst the waters that filled their local part of the Great Rift, likewise find that God is not hindered in closing the book upon violence against all who are His Own!
* From "The Encyclopaedia of Military History from 3500 B.C. to the present" by R. Ernest Dupuy and Trevor N. Dupuy, Harper & Row, 1970
In The Encyclopaedia Britannica (11th Edition), Volume 24, the entry entitled "Servia" (Serbia, in English), has, under the sub-heading "History", nearly five pages of fine print which outline the many braided influences, invasions, settlement sequence, diplomatic attachments, and general strife which has been the historic lot of the Serbian people (down to the 1911 date of publication of the encyclopaedia).
From this quite illuminating (for the scholar) entry, we extract one passage comprising "The Turkish Invasion."
A further point of importance to British-Israelites is the fact that, in common with other tribal derivatives out of ancient Israel, the Tabernacle colours of Red, White and Blue form the basic traditional colours of the people of Serbia, as of the Slavic peoples in general.
Guide to the Flags of the World by Mauro Talocci, (Edited and revised by Whitney Smith), under the item "Yugoslavia", states "Blue, white and red are traditional Slavic colours. These colours were used in the nineteenth century in the flags of Serbia and Montenegro... ."
The Collins Gem Guide "Flags", under the item "Yugoslavia" says the same in more concise wording but with reference to the colours, it adds "The Serbian (originally Russian) colours adopted in 1918 date from the early 19th cent. and represent Pan-Slav unity... ."
The Encyclopaedia Britannica, item "Flags" supplies the additional note that it is said that it was from the visit of Peter-the-Great to Holland, to learn shipbuilding, that these Dutch colours were also selected by that Tsar for his country's flag. The Serbian flag has now it seems, also regained its pre-Communist coat of arms.
After preparing the foregoing, we received a copy of an extremely well prepared article on the background and the ramifications of the whole deplorable situation, which we felt must be added to the above observations and comments in order to explain how the whole has unfolded. What follows is prepared under the by-line of Marcus Gee, and we quote his words from The Globe and Mail - April 10, 1999:
When Woodrow Wilson endorsed the principle of the "self-determination of peoples" in 1918, his secretary of state, Robert Lansing, was aghast. The phrase, Lansing said in a private memo, "is simply loaded with dynamite." If the idea took root that every people around the world should have its own nation, it "will, I fear, cost thousands of lives."
That, it turned out, was an understatement. From the Middle east to the Indian subcontinent, from Biafra to Cyprus, the battle to scissor ethnically or religiously homogeneous nations from the quilted fabric of humanity has claimed millions of lives. Throw in the Second World War, which began with the drive to include all Germans in a single ethnic state, and the figure rises to tens of millions.
But even Lansing could not have imagined that the United States and its allies would one day go to war for what he called Wilson's "undigested" phrase. Because that is precisely what is happening in Kosovo today. For the first time, the community of Western nations is waging war to uphold the right of a nationless people (the Kosovo Albanians) to break away from a sovereign state and strike out on their own.
While other wars were fought to uphold the integrity of national borders, this one is being fought to re-arrange them. While other wars were fought to defend national sovereignty, this one is being fought to overrule it. Despite all its protests to the contrary, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization has allied itself with a separatist movement whose aim is to smash what is left of a multi-ethnic state and establish a new ethnically pure nation. This is the first international war for self-determination.
That, of course, is not how NATO sees it. According to its propaganda, NATO is standing up against Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic as he crushes the plucky Albanians, just as he crushed the Bosnian Muslims between 1992 and 1995. If we failed to stand up to Mr. Milosevic in Bosnia, then, damn it, we'll stop him now.
But NATO has things backward. Kosovo is not Bosnia. In that war, the trouble started when one ethnic group in a mixed society decided that it was oppressed by the arrangement and tried to break away. Backed by Mr. Milosevic's Serbia, the Bosnian Serbs pushed all Croats and Muslims out of "Serb" lands and tried to create a Serb state of their own.
The Western powers tried, vainly, to stop them. The whole thrust of international diplomacy during those years was to keep the multi-ethnic state of Bosnia alive. When NATO finally resorted to bombing in 1995, it bombed the Bosnian Serbs to get them to accept a peace settlement that would preserve that state.
This time, we are backing the Kosovo Albanians as they try to break away from what's left of the sovereign state of Yugoslavia. This time we are bombing the people who are trying to preserve that state. The logical outcome of the bombing, if it works, will be to create two ethnically homogeneous nations: Serbia for the Serbs, Kosovo for the Albanians.
In their aims and methods, the Bosnian Serb separatists and the Kosovo Albanian separatists are all but identical. Like the Bosnian Serb army, the Kosovo Liberation Army has been quick to use terror tactics. KLA guerrillas have assassinated Yugoslav police officers, burned police stations and killed suspected collaborators. Like the Bosnian Serbs, they have used the technique known as "ethnic cleansing." The KLA has often forced members of the Serb minority in Kosovo to flee their homes in fear.
And, like the Bosnian Serbs, they dream of uniting all their ethnic cousins in a single homeland. In the Serbs' case, it was a Greater Serbia that would include Serbs in Bosnia, Croatia and Serbia proper. In the Kisovo Albanians' case, it is a Greater Albania that would embrace Albanians in Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Albanian proper. It is one of the ironies of this war that in taking on Mr. Milosevic, the man behind the quest for a Greater Serbia, the west may have laid the ground for the emergence of an ethnically pure Greater Albania.
The only real difference between these two militant separatist groups is that, while the Bosnian Serb army had the Western world against it, the Kosovo Liberation Army has the Western world on its side. And, this time, the allies were good enough to bring bombs. How did this happen? How did the world's most powerful military alliance end up backing a band of ruthless ethnic nationalists in its bid to carve out a new state in an impoverished corner of the Balkans?
Not out of ignorance, certainly. Western leaders have known from the beginning that joining hands with Kosovo separatists would be poison.
Instead, the West embraced moderate nationalist Albanian leader Ibrahim Rugova. He wanted independence for Kosovo but wasn't willing to risk an uprising against the Yugoslav government, which had stripped Kosovo of its autonomy. The Rugova strategy was passive resistance. Albanians set up their own Albanian language schools, their own health clinics, their own banking system. It wasn't freedom and it wasn't self-determination, but it wasn't war, either. No villages were being burned, no children killed.
Things changed after 1995 when the United States brokered a peace agreement in neighbouring Bosnia. That agreement ignored Kosovo. Frustrated, Albanians turned away from Mr. Rugova and began throwing support behind the KLA, then a little-known group with only a few hundred fighters.
The KLA began killing and burning - not because it hoped to beat the Serbs, but because it knew this would provoke a backlash from Belgrade. The more Albanians that died, the more they would rally to the KLA banner. As the bodies piled up, foreign reporters would arrive, then international observers and finally - with a little luck - NATO bombers. It had happened in Bosnia. Why not in Kosovo?
Western diplomats knew what the rebels were up to. NATO, they vowed, would never become "the air force of the KLA." But as the fighting in Kosovo escalated, the West decided it had no choice except to deal with rebels, who were invited to represent Kosovo Albanians at peace talks in Rambouillet, France.
Rambouillet was the KLA's masterstroke. At first, KLA leaders refused to agree to a peace, then weeks later signed on, making them look accommodating and Yugoslavia recalcitrant. The trap was set. Having threatened to attack Yugoslavia if it refused to sign, NATO began bombing on March 24. Against all its best intentions, the west had been dragged into an alliance with violent separatists.
The consequences of this precedent are unimaginable. Scores of separatist movements around the world yearn for outside help. Until now, they usually have been rebuffed. Western countries did not raise a finger when Russia invaded Chechnya and demolished its capital to fight against the Chechen independence movement. Nor have they said much about India's violent campaign against separatists in the northern state of Kashmir.
In fact, when the outside world has intervened, it has usually been on the government side. India went into Sri Lanka in the 1980's to help put down a rebellion by Tamil separatists. And the United States recently helped Turkey capture the leader of a bloody Kurdish rebellion.
If that is changing - if it becomes a principle of the Western powers to back self-determination with force - it will mean oceans of blood. Just about every country in Africa has a restless minority that would love to break free. India alone has dozens of separatist movements. If they are smart, they will set about trying to coax outside governments into helping them.
And how will they do it? If they are watching the cunning performance of the KLA, they will do everything they can to goad the authorities into brutally cracking down. Then they will sit back and wait for the cavalry.
When Lansing heard Wilson utter those words about self-determination, he predicted discontent, disorder and rebellion. "What a calamity that the phrase was ever uttered!" he said.
He didn't know the half of it.
B.I.W.F. Book Rooms have, for some time, handled a small book by Pastor Alan Campbell of Northern Ireland, called "Spotlight On Yugoslavia", listed among the books on the "BRITISH-ISRAEL BOOK ROOMS AND CATALOGUE LISTS" listings on our Home Page.
May 4, 1999:
An excellent article appeared in the April 26, 1999 issue of SPOTLIGHT Newspaper (Published by Liberty Lobby, Inc. at 300 Independence Ave. SE, Washington, D.C., 20003, U.S.A.). Printed under the By-Line of Louis Beam, it recounts some most important historic aspects which the generality of the Mass Media in the NATO area appears to be purposely withholding from the public, lest public support for the policies presently being pursued by NATO leaders begin to evaporate. The whole article is important, but towards the end some points are made which deserve a wide audience since people's lives may be saved by an enhanced understanding of the motivating religious and historic influences within the minds of Serbs today.
The final 13 column-inches of the two-page article follow.
"THE OTHER SIDE
Because of the control of the news media most people do not understand the real battle being waged inside the borders of Yugoslavia. Six hundred years ago Islamic hordes invaded Christian Europe. They destroyed everything in their path. Those who refused to convert to Islam suffered horrible fates.
The Serb women were first raped and then sold along with their children into slavery. Serb men not killed on the battlefields were castrated and blinded to make them docile slaves for their Turkish masters. Whole cities became a single funeral pyre with their flames reaching toward heaven for the thousands who lived in them as they were burned by the invaders. At one point in their advance into Serbia the Turks nailed some 12,000 Serbs to crosses mocking the death of Christ and the faith of the Serbs.
The Turkish invasion of Europe seemed unstoppable as they swept over everything in their path with fire and sword. Unstoppable until they reached the Kosovo Plain, that is.
For it was there, in 1389, that some 77,000 Christian knights and soldiers met the Turks. All of them pledged to each other and to Christ that they would die rather than convert to Mohammedanism and lose their liberty.
These Christian men, lead by Serb Prince Lazar, engaged in a gory battle to the death. When the battle was over the cream of Serb manhood lay dead in great heaps on the blood drenched field along with their prince. But their death did not come easy for the Muslims. These martyrs for their faith fought so heroically, exacting such a tremendous toll upon the Islamic soldiers, that the advance into the heart of Europe was halted.
During the battle a group of knights having heard that their prince was dead, raced headlong through the enemy lines charging into the center of the enemy camp where they slew the Turkish leader, Emir Murad I, in his tent. There they too died.
Thenceforth, Kosovo Field became to the Serb people campo santo, the Holy Field. It is considered by many historians of the Christian church to be the single greatest tomb of Christian martyrs killed in a single day. No other single larger sacrifice of Christians is known. Rome had its glory. But Serbia has Kosovo. Each year on St. Vitus' Day, the Serbs honor the holy martyrs of Kosovo Plain and commemorate that epic sacrifice to freedom and the faith of Christ with prayer and fasting.
Such is the history of the Alamo-like stand of Serb manhood against the invading foes of Western Christian civilization. Kosovo province is the heart and soul of Serbia and they will not yield it to today's Albanian Muslim terrorists backed by American cruise missiles and B-2 bombers.
The United States' aggression against the Serbs will be valiantly opposed by the descendants of those who died upon Kosovo Plain. The attempt to break it away from the Serb nation will fail and America will reap more shame and condemnation for its cowardly bombing of the Yugoslavian people."
COMMENT: It is possible that we are witnessing the fulfilment of that prophecy which the Patriarch Jacob pronounced in Genesis 49:16-18 concerning the descendants of the Tribe of Dan! 16 Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel. Part of the Tribe of Dan was in Greece, and Macedonia, and doubtless also farther up the Danube River, the "path", and the leadership of world-planning elitists riding "Europa" may yet fulfil the prophecy by falling backward from the assault. Remember that in the first confrontation of Pharaoh by Moses and Aaron the Rod of Moses became the symbol of Dan, a Snake, countering "Buto", the "guardian-goddess" of the person of Pharaoh, himself, and when the two priests, Jannes and Jambres (II Timothy 3:8, Exodus 7:11-12), came forward to place their rod-snakes in contention, these snakes were eaten by Moses' Rod, laid before Pharaoh by Aaron. The name "Jannes" is unusual, but we might remember that it was the "Janissaries" who were youth of slain and slave (formerly Christian) families under bondage who formed those fanatical Moslem shock-troops ("Archery Corps") who killed and oppressed the Serb Christians of that former generation and for five hundred years thereafter during the dominance of the Ottoman Empire. Contemplating this possible symbolic prophetic identification brought us to a further extension, namely, the question concerning what meaning might be elicited from "Jambres." While these appear in Greek, the actual names were of the two Pharaonic Priests, so their names must be considered as Hebrew translations of the
Egyptian. Yam, in Hebrew is the word for "West" and "Sea". Might this, then prophetically indicate the North Atlantic? And what of the remainder of that name, Br-E-S? Could we read into the intials "Britain, Europe and United States"? That would certainly fit the requirement! The second sign upon Egypt (the First "Plague"), was the turning of The Nile, the "life-giving water" of Egypt, into blood which could not be drunk, and the fish therein died. The Danube River is a main artery of commerce (the second-longest river in Europe after the Volga), and it has now received, and turned red with, the blood of those killed on bridges which were bombed. It is polluted by the petro-chemicals and other contaminants from bombed indutrial plants, which now flow within it, and it is blocked by the downed bridges, bringing the economic stream of commerce by barge and ship (economic flow of commerce thereby) to a halt thereon. Thus, the economy of "Europa" cannot "drink" of that "liquidity." What next will appear on the roster of Signs and Wonders upon the Economic "Egypt" of our own day?
17 Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward.
18 I have waited for thy salvation, O LORD.
May 10, 1999:
Another plague was that which followed, in which Hail and fire (lightning?) ran along the ground. Perhaps electronic media, including the internet, may yet have a part to play in the sequence, if that "fire" can, indeed, be equated with electricity!
What corresponds to the Plague of Locusts? These were brought by an "east wind", and they ate much of the available food in Egypt. Perhaps this can be equated with the quite large quantities of food, clothing, and other assistance, at the expense of the people in NATO countries, which are being assembled as donations by aid agencies in order to assist and to feed the many Kosovar Albanian refugees!
Darkness over "Egypt" can be spiritual, whereas those who are God's elect can have "enlightenment"!
Jewels of gold and silver were yielded up (being "back-wages" in the Biblical story, "loaned" to the Israelites, in order to find relief from those "plagues" which came upon Egypt.) Is this why Britain is proposing to sell off half that country's "Gold Reserves"? Remember that one of Israel's chief tasks under bondage, was to "build Pharaoh's Treasure cities"!
When Pharaoh finally decided to "send in the troops", he failed to see that God would intervene, and would not allow Pharaoh's chariots to escape the waters of The Red Sea, while saving His people, who, in turn, came to an area of wilderness and had therefore to rely upon God for sustenance.
The "Red Sea" might find a parallel in the Red Chinese quarter of the world's population!
If our perception of linkage between those ancient "signs and wonders" upon Egypt during the lead-up to "The Exodus" and our present world scene is correct, we may perceive further such symbolic prophetic links. Consider the following thoughts. The seventh sign (against Sechmet, the Egyptian lioness-headed goddess of fire, war and pestilence) was the so-called sixth plague upon Pharaoh's Egypt, and it was brought about when Moses and Aaron were instructed by God (Exodus 9:8-11) to take the ashes of the furnace for this sign. [Here, The Companion Bible notes "i.e. one of the altars on which human sacrifices were sometimes offered to propitiate their god Typhon (i.e. the Evil Principle). These were doubtless being offered to avert the plagues, and Moses, using the ashes in the same way, produced another plague instead of averting it."] Moses then sprinkled these ashes from the furnace (or altar) toward the heaven in the sight of Pharaoh. (In the present analogy, this could be represented in the "target photos" taken by the aircraft dropping the missiles to watch the explosions as they hit.) This was done, and the ashes thrown into the air "became a boil breaking forth with blains upon man and upon beast. And the magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils; for the boil was upon the magicians (headed by Jannes and Jambres), and upon all the Egyptians." Here, can we not see how the Ashes, dust and rubble, mixed with the blood of those bombed within the destroyed buildings of Serbia under the blasting by NATO bombs, is being thrown upward towards heaven, and the news of these atrocities can thereby become an inhibiting curse upon the new "Spiritual Egypt" of World Government enforcement (seen presently in NATO), as the world's peoples come to understand the terrible consequences of failed policies and mis-directed humanistic Anti-Christian allegiance to human planning in place of God's Kingdom?
We are herein seeking possible prophetic resonances to ancient Biblical events connected to The Exodus out of Egypt*1See footnote below, as God's people in the "last days" (Genesis 49:1) are to experience a parallel prophetic time of stress and trouble (but probably in a deeper, and also in a spiritual dimension).
We have reason to believe that descendants of Esau must be counted as prominent among the peoples from central Asia who have a Turkish connection, (certainly during World War I, that was a common "prophetic viewpoint"), and a portion of Edom itself, we have reason to believe, is quite possibly seen in part today, (in company with some sympathetic allies), among the leaders in the ranks of NATO Directorships.
One might ask the question: "If the occurrences in the world, in the last days are forming a parallel situation to the one when Israel was passing through The Exodus, - Why would the Tribe of Dan, in particular, be subjected to an attack directed by the descendants of Esau, such as Amalek, and abused as a target in these last days"?
We may remember that, entering upon their wilderness experiences, Amalek was the first enemy that attacked Israel. To the question "Which Tribe was assaulted first?" we find an answer by examining these three passages:
Numbers 2:31 All they that were numbered in the camp of Dan were an hundred thousand and fifty and seven thousand and six hundred. They shall go hindmost with their standards.
Numbers 10:25 "And the standard of the camp of the children of Dan set forward, which was the rereward of all the camps throughout their hosts: and over his host was Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.
Deuteronomy 25:17-19; 17 Remember what Amalek did unto thee by the way, when ye were come forth out of Egypt;
18 How he met thee by the way, and smote the hindmost of thee, even all that were feeble behind thee, when thou wast faint and weary; and he feared not God.
19 Therefore it shall be, when the LORD thy God hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round about, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it, that thou shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not forget it.
*1Revelation 11:3 speaks of "two witnesses" the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
6 These have power in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven."
Is the current campaign by extremist Albanian Moslems to eradicate all Orthodox Christian links with the land of Kosovo (as with the destruction and even total removal of the very stones of ancient churches and monasetries), and the removal of the Serbian population, being DESIGNEDLY met by an apparently ineffectual reaction of NATO Governments and "World Leaders", and therefore also by KFOR troops, to halt this campaign?
WE SIMPLY RAISE THE QUESTION!
A follow-up question -
The Serbs have thus been provided with every reason to seek some form of retaliation AGAINST THE MOSLEM ALBANIANS for this destruction of their "Racial and Religious Heartland" and cultural monuments and sacred sites of their Christian Heritage.
AGAIN, WE SIMPLY RAISE THE QUESTION!
August 3, 1999: IF AFFIRMATIVE ANSWERS TO THE ABOVE QUESTIONS BE ACCEPTED, THE OBVIOUS CONCLUSION WOULD SEEM TO BE THAT THE WHOLE YUGOSLAVIA/KOSOVO SCENARIO FROM THE FIRST MOVES, MONTHS, EVEN PERHAPS YEARS, AGO WOULD HAVE BEEN DESIGNED FOR THE EXPRESS PURPOSE OF PROVIDING A MEANS OF REMOVING THE MOSQUE OF OMAR WHILE AT THE SAME TIME CREATING A MEANS OF APPORTIONING BLAME FOR THAT DESTRUCTION ON CHRISTIAN SERBS AND MOSLEMS, THUS DIVERTING SUCH BLAME FROM OTHER LOGICAL RECIPIENTS.
October 24, 1999: QUESTION!:
In light of the reported Albanian grave-robbing and subsequent disappearance of Serbian corpses from Serbian graveyards in Kosovo, and the parallel reports that international teams of forensic experts are finding that many so-called sites of atrocities and mass-burials of massacred Albanians which the local Albanians had reported to the NATO authorities are turning out to be quite empty of mass-burials, thus providing scant evidence of genocide (the main charge upon which NATO based its decision to attack Yugoslavia).
[The former editors of the Serbia-info web-page presented reports such as the "Summary" - October 20, 1999 and "Italian paper says no mass graves discovered in Kosovo and Metohija" - October 21, 1999 supporting that contention. See kosovo.com/news/default for more recent news updates. (Serb-info Link has apparently been taken over by Albanian Sympathisers (hackers, apparently, although they deny that they are such) on 12 April 2000, calling it "Serbian Ministry of Lies" so that former site is removed, temporarily at least, from this access link.)] Thus we ought to ask if the missing Serbian corpses are being dug up, re-clothed and re-buried to represent some of the non-existent Albanian dead in order to attempt to justify Albanian and NATO actions by supplying some "proof" for the "genocide" charges, thus saving "face" among NATO's Leaders who have made an unjustified assault upon Yugoslavia!
