| EXODUS TIMES FOUR? |

Some interesting connections are found when we examine time-span links touching on the lives of Abraham, Moses, Joshua, Solomon, Rehoboam, Elijah, Jesus, Henry VIII, James VI & I, and the present generation. Within the history wherein these lives are distributed is recorded the curious placement of two other names linked together in close family relationship on occasions when an "Exodus" from bondage is impending. "Mary" and "Elizabeth" appear at outstanding times when The LORD's people, Israel, have been granted such an Exodus from bondage. It is important, in order to grasp some of the connections concerned, to note that the Hebrew form of Mary/Maria is "Miriam", and that of Elizabeth is "Elisheba." It may also be noted that Mary/Maria/Miriam has the meaning "bitter" or "rebellion" while Elisheba/Elizabeth/Elspeth means "God's oath." Aaron married Elisheba, daughter of Amminadab, sister of Naashon (Exodus 6:23) and their sons were: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar. This was the start of the Aaronic priesthood.
Next, let us consider those points in Israel's history when an Exodus appears. In each, a tyrant is killing Israel's children. The first Exodus occurred as God led His people out of physical bondage in Egypt, out from a Pharaoh who had ordered male babies to be cast into the Nile. At that occasion, Moses' sister was Miriam, while Aaron's wife was Elisheba, daughter of the Prince of Judah. Miriam suffered leprosy for seven days outside the camp (Numbers 12:1-10) for her [bitter] words about Moses' wife. Joshua (Yashua, [= "Jesus" in Greek]) completed the sequence of leadership on that occasion, 40 years later, by leading the entry into Canaan.
Christ's First Advent which led to his own "exodos" [Gk ".e;xodon" (Greek typeface may not print in .html)]* (Luke 9:31), resulted in opening the door of escape from Sin's penalties for all who seek it, and in particular, it applies to Israel. This began with the Annunciation to Mary who immediately went to visit her cousin, Elizabeth, who was bearing John the Baptist at the time. Herod killed the Innocents in Bethlehem, and both John the Baptist and Christ were later put to death. Mary, along with the other women named Mary, suffered bitterness at the Cross, a consequence of Satan's rebellion [and that of Adam and Eve].
Another "Exodus", this time from a corrupted church system of many generations, occurred with the transfer of the English Throne from "Bloody Mary" (who sought, with fire and torture to bind England to Rome with all that such a union entailed), to her sister, Elizabeth I. (Mary, Queen of Scots, was a contender for Elizabeth's Throne also.)
Will there occur, in our time, another Exodus from the present World Government Plans, the decaying Babylonian Financial System and the religious and racial multicult which threatens the very existence of God's modern-day Anglo-Celto-Saxon and kindred people of Israel? Abortion mills slaughter many thousands of the innocent children today. We are told to watch for Jesus (Whose name is Yashua = Saviour; "Jehovah is Salvation") [the same name as Joshua] when certain marks of the times appear. Christ's appearance at His Second Advent will mark the initial stages forming the entrance of Israel into the Kingdom of God upon the earth.
Elizabeth II, who stood with her mother (Elizabeth) and grandmother, Queen Mary [who had endured the bitter failure of her eldest son, and then saw the death of his brother, in that memorable press photo of "three queens", at the funeral of George VI], has just completed her Jubilee, and possibilities here present themselves, if the pattern holds. Now for some time lines:
(a) 40 & 400: The time that Abraham's descendants had to wait before crossing into their Promised Land was to be 400 years. It took that long for the iniquity of the Amorites to provide legal permission to take the land. The time of 400 years from the death of Elizabeth I (March 24, 1603), and notification of James VI of Scotland of his selection as her successor, (becoming James I of the United England, Scotland and Ireland, four days later) ends at March 24-28, 2003.
Curiously, the Ossuary (i.e. "bone container") of "James, son of Joseph, brother of Jesus" was found to be cracked when opened on All Saints Day this year [2002] (although it might have happened on Hallowe'en!).
This James of the Ossuary was, with little doubt, probably the one who was Head of the Church in Jerusalem and hence symbolic of the "dead in Christ" who are to rise at His appearing. The crack was discovered 144 days (144,000 indicator?) prior to that 24 March 2003 date, and news of its discovery brought to mind Ezekiel 37:11-12 "Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts. Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel."
Might God have permitted the damage as a signal? Signals may be mis-interpreted, so we ought to remember that "No man knoweth the day or the hour" of Christ's return (Matthew 24:36, Mark 13:32). We are to watch for signs as they appear.
(b) 2520 - a period of departure from true faith: The split between the House of Israel and the House of Judah occurred because Solomon sinned in cultivating the multicult religions of his many wives, but that split would not take effect until the next generation, in the days of Rehoboam. 2520 years later, as far as can be estimated, another King in Israel, Henry VIII, on account of religious troubles over his many wives (lacking permission to divorce), began the process which would eventuate, in the days of his children, in the emergence, after "Bloody Mary's" excesses, of a Protestant succession through Elizabeth I. (Incidentally, The Mary Rose, Henry's pride and joy, was the naval vessel built in 1509-11, which turned over and sank in 1545.)
Elizabeth I was born 1500 years after the Crucifixion, in 1533, and died in 1603. Being the Virgin Queen, decision had to be given that James VI of Scotland (a part of Judah, and he being aware of his descent from Jacob, which equates to "James") would lead Judah (Scotland) to join with Ephraim (England) [Deuteronomy 33:7 and Jeremiah 3:18 fulfilled]. He issued the Jacobus coin, and he was responsible for authorizing and organizing translation of the Authorized Version of our Bible, (in the Jerusalem Chamber of Westminster Abby**), which returned the Word of God to Israel in the Isles. This happened about 2520 years after Elijah had confronted King Ahab and the House of Israel concerning the dominance of the priests of Baal-Melqart, the official protective deity of Tyre. The LORD demonstrated by fire that it was He, Yahweh, Who was Israel's true God.
(c) 1260: Curiously, two spans of 1260 years can also be drawn in to our picture. From 520 BC, the Jewish return to Judah from the Babylonian Captivity, 1260 years brings us very close to 740 AD, and the conversion of the Khazar Nation to Judaism. Another 1260 years, completing 2520 years in total, brings us to 2000 AD, with the 2001 attempt to symbolically relay the foundation stone of the temple. The present tensions in Palestine are, in part, related thereto, and we are reminded of Christ's parable of the wicked husbandmen hired to work in the Householder's vineyard (Matthew 21:33-41, Mark 12:1-9 and Luke 20:9-16.)

** [Actually, forty-seven translators met, divided into six groups, which involved 10 translators in Group 1 (Pentateuch through Kings, inclusive) and 7 in Group 5 (New Testament Epistles) at Westminster, while 8 met in Group 2 (Chronicles to Canticles) and 7 in Group 6 (Apocrypha) at Cambridge and 7 met in Group 3 (Isaiah through Malachi) and 8 in Group 4 (Four Gospels, Acts and Revelation) at Oxford. Each group had then to pass their translation on to the rest for further revision. Lastly, appointed representatives from each location met for final reading and revision overview, to affirm the text. As it was in The Jerusalem Chamber that the Westminster Confession was drawn up, that the Assembly of Divines met in 1649, and also that the Revisers of the Old Testament assembled in the nineteenth Century, I would presume that the two groups of translators who worked at Westminster also used the same Jerusalem Chamber.]
